RightITnow ECM: Sending test events

Sending test events to RightITnow ECM can be done in various ways and from different languages. One of the easiest is to use the Python script described here.

Prerequisites:

• Python
• suds python library

Instructions:

• Download the sample event sender here
• Extract zip
• Modify the file RightITnow/Service.py to change the URL of RightITnow
• Modify EventSender.py and change the sys.path.append to point to the RightITnow folder just extracted from the zip
• In the same file you can add or change the event tokens
• To send the event run from the shell:

  python EventSender.py
